Please see the user guide below for more information on how to use Enabyl Balance, and don't hesitate to contact us with questions.
To log in, tap "Create a new account", or enter your username and password if you have already created an account. If you tap on one of these options in error, swipe from the left corner of the screen to move back to where you started. If you forgot your password, select "Forgot your password?" and you will be prompted to update your login credentials with a verified email or phone number.
For full access to Enabyl Balance services, you may purchase a subscription or enter an activation code on the initial screen. Once the application is activated, you won't see this screen again until it's time to renew your subscription or activation code.
To use an activation code, open the App Store and tap on your profile image in the top-right corner of the screen. Then tap the button reading "Redeem Gift Card or Code" and enter your code. When you next open the Balance app, tap the "Restore" button to activate your subscription.
NOTE: All subscriptions come with a one-week free trial period. If you are displeased with the application, you may cancel your subscription during this period and will not be charged.
For the best user experience, please select "Always Allow" -- this will allow the application to track FoG events when the device is locked. Otherwise, select "Only While Using the App" to track FoG event location only when the application is open. By selecting "Don't Allow", the application will not collect location data and will only track FoG events when the application is open.
After selecting this option, a second pop-up will ask you to allow Enabyl Balance to send you notifications. Select "Allow" to activate this feature -- this setting may be changed at any time in the Settings >> Enabyl Balance menu. Finally, a third pop-up will prompt you to enable Background App Refresh if you haven't done so already. This setting will allow Enabyl Balance to run while your phone is locked. To activate this feature, follow the instructions in the pop-up window. This setting may also be changed at any time from Settings >> General >> Background App Refresh.
NOTE: The application will continue to run in the background if the iPhone is locked.
If the application is too sensitive, the sensitivity can be adjusted with the (+) and (-) buttons, and the setting can be set to default with the "Reset" button. Data collection and processing may be ceased at any time by pressing "PAUSE".
NOTE: The application will automatically pause after 10 seconds or more of inactivity.
When an event is detected, a notification will appear (if notifications are enabled). To improve the performance of the application, you may confirm whether an event occurred by swiping down on the notification (if the app is open) or pressing down forcefully on the notification (if the app is closed) and selecting "Confirm" or "Deny". Notifications may be ignored and confirmed at a later time from the Event History screen (see below).
To view recorded events and their duration, first tap the "Report" button on the main screen. Select the beginning and ending date from the scrolling menus. Only events recorded between the specified dates will be shown in the list below. To view results, simply tap continue and scroll through the list. Tap on any of the entries to view more details and change the confirmation status. The screen shows average events per day and average event duration for the events listed.
NOTE: To have readable reports sent to your email, select the "Export" button in the upper-right.
